Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. She was raised listening to classical Boleros from the past as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. She also loves operas and any form dramatic performance. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. When she moved from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects and is a teacher and performer, because of her enthusiasm of music and art. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
